I lived in Lode Lane many years ago. The Manor House Tea Room menus are still wrong. The Decimal Currency Act 1969 says that currency must be in use. They still make a reduction of five pence (95s) which is worthless. Minus a pittance should be rare if at all as coins like the fivepence are worthless. More and more caterers are using just one place of decimals e. g. £10.5 or the obvious and legal exact pounds. Coins need to be removed to save the cost of minting them. Having insulted out intelligence with their station cafés at Solihull and Dorridge (pence and parts of a penny instead of the legal pounds and parts of a pound), Centenary Lounge still have a thing over five pences.
